Trinity's women have an active group of women that meet in circles monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. They sponsor Timothy cabin at Red Willow Bible Camp and support many other ministries around the globe.
Our Sunday School meets after worship for ages 4 through the 6th grade. Each year our 3rd graders receive a bible. One of the biggest joys we receive is the annual Christmas pagent when our young people once again tell the story of the birth of the Christ child.
Tuesdays mornings our quilters gather together to make quilts for our local medical facility, social services, Lutheran World Relief, and for our graduating seniors.
Our youth in grades 7 through 12 gather after worship on Sunday. They also plan mission trips to assist those who need support and assistance. Confirmation meets on Wednesday night for those in 7th and 8th grade. Fridays during the school year, at Griggs County Central, we offer pizza and discussion with our 9th through 12th graders. Where we talk openly about the faith and other challenges our youth face in today's world.
Our music is awesome in one word. We are very spoiled having two wonderful musicians to assist us in worship. We have a choir that will provide special music throughout the year.
Trinity growers is a ministry where we farm 95 acres of land just east of Cooperstown. Bryan and Laurie Nelson are the land owners. Local and regional businesses support this ministry to provide the inputs for the crop and chemicals needed to care for the crop. All proceeds of the crop are given to aid in the fight against world hunger, locally, regionally, and globally. As of 2014 over $110,000 has been raised to feed people in need.
Join us every Tuesday morning at 6:45am. We meet at Wooden Gardens coffee shop to review the upcoming text for Sunday.
